Beethoven Action Figure
|CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.|
Ludwig van Beethoven was truly an eccentric musical genius - composing a brilliant piano sonata one minute, throwing eggs at his maid the next. This 5-1/4" (13.3 cm) tall, hard vinyl action figure has moveable arms and legs, allowing him to sit on the 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) plastic piano bench included.

Puts A Smile On My FaceJun 21, 2012
I'm a fan of Beethoven's music so when I saw this action figure, I knew it would be a cute display figure. I've printed the piano template but have not had the time to put it together. I printed it on stiff paper (glad my printer was able to handle that) and also had it printed on glossy photo paper. When seated, Ludwig leans back a bit. I wish he could be bent forward more. This would be a great inspirational gift for a child learning the piano - Ludwig watches and listens while you practice. Listen closely and you'll hear him critique your playing!

Beethoven was known as a handsome guy, and this action figure is extremely commanding a figure. I heard Beethoven wrote some pretty great tunes too despite what Chuck Berry may have said. Roll Over Indeed, sir.

This is a unique gift and toy. However, Beethoven did not stay on the stool, which was disappointing. Otherwise neat details and it made a nice gift for a Beethoven fan.
Fun conversation piece.Dec 26, 2012

The figure fits his seat, but it wants a piano! I downloaded the paper cutout version - a disappointmnet: too big and dumb looking. BUT, I asked for and received a beautiful miniature grand piano for Christmas, also from Amazon. The seat on that piano is too high for poor Ludwig, but if you stand him up and position him kicking the bench over, you have Boogie Beethoven. Or, use the seat he came with, and he can reach the keys, but his feet dangle. Again, a fun conversation piece.
