Cute but just for display...Dec 26, 2006
By Mary Anne
I purchased this item for a friend who wanted to have a representation of Moses in their office - sort of like keeping scriptures on your office wall kind of thing and for that purpose this figure is great. It has a comforting appearance - the features are pleasant and so forth. However, it is sort of delicately made so if you need to bend the parts or really want to be able to take the staff on and off or so forth - it's not a good idea. Bending or rotating the movable joints causes the arms to loose tention and to droop at bit after reposing so if you are just looking as I was, for something that would make a reasonable display, this is a comforting product in appearance and worth it. Nice size and so on. But it would not be up to actual posing or active use.

Hilarious Gift for a PastorJan 25, 2012
By Sarah Geiger
This was a pseudo-gag gift for a UCC pastor and friend of mine. We have a running joke about how he has a Moses complex (a largely good complex to have, admittedly), so when I saw this I knew he had to have it. It now sits on his desk for "inspiration" when he's writing sermons. He even used it as a prop during a sermon recently! It got the desired laughs. As a sidenote, the irony of an action figure of Moses holding the tablets that forbid idolatry is not lost on us, which has only added to the humor.
I'ts a Miracle! (Moy-sheh)Oct 10, 2014
Clearly an offensive spiritual weapon. When this figure is brought into a church the tablets must be removed the shepherds hook may stay. All because Roman Catholic Church and also some evangelical belief systems which do not support the state of Israel state verbally and doctrinally that Jesus did away with the (law) and the ten commandments. Like wise when you enter a synagogue the shepherds staff must be removed and the tablets stay in place because the hook was used as a means of identifying people and marking them for either slavery or death. On this figure "Praise GOD" both the tablet and the Shepard's hook are removable.
Good QualityApr 02, 2014
Moses was just what I needed to accompany the Jesus action figure that I had purchased for my father a couple of years ago. He told me that Jesus seemed to be lonely, and so I went in search of Moses.
Moses arrived quickly and was very good quality. I cannot account for the action figure's durability when it comes to children. No children will be playing with it. But for an adult, it is quite wonderful.
Perfect for PassoverFeb 10, 2014
I was trying to think of decorations for the Passover/Easter season; something different from the usual eggs, bunnies, and Passover seder plate. I accidentally found this Moses action figure on Amazon, and I'm so glad I did. With a little help from some other toys purchased through Amazon (Egyptian soldiers, pyramids) and some cardboard cut-outs, I'm making a diorama depicting the Biblical story of Exodus! Really excited to show my kids.
